What we collect
- Account info: email, display name, password hash, signup IP for fraud screening.
- Subscription state: tier, status, period end, payment-provider customer ID. Card and payment details are held by our payment processor (PayPal) — we never see them.
- Engagement: pageviews, scroll depth, paywall views — but only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Email log: which transactional emails we sent you and whether they were delivered.
Why we collect it
To run the subscription, deliver issues, and improve the product. We do not sell or trade your data.
Sub-processors
- PayPal — payment processing (when configured as the active provider).
- Razorpay — payment processing (when configured as the active provider).
- Your hosting provider — site infrastructure.
- Email delivery (e.g. Postmark, SendGrid) — transactional email if configured.
- Google Analytics 4 — only if a measurement ID is set, and only after you accept analytics cookies.
Your rights
You can export a copy of your data or close your account from the account page at any time.
